92 gsr seat belt fuse

Why do you need to pull fuse?

It's located in fusebox in engine bay. There's a fuse for left and right belt retractor.

Mark he didn't say he needed to pull it. Maybe he needs to replace it.

There is fuses for left and right under the hood in the fuse box. There is also a fuse inside that controls the seatbelts and some gauges. RPM's and warning lights I believe. If you're looking to de-activate the seat belts then the ones under the hood will be the ones to look for. If your trying to get them working again the interior fuse would be a 7.5amp "METER SA UNIT" fuse.

It's on the top row of the fuses. Second away from the firewall if I recall correctly. (Don't quote me on the location.)

My driver side seatbelt stays in the engaged position. The only way to make it go forwards is to manually rotate the belt motor. Once it's forwards again with the ignition on and the door closed, it doesn't move unless you give the moving part a push, at which point the belt zips back to the engaged position behind the seat. I'm really confused by this.

im kinda having hte same issue, my driver side stays in the opened door position and wont retract unless i manually do it, and after that as i soon as i open the door the seatbelt goes back to the opened position but still wont comeback up

That's what mine did until I opened the electric motor to the actual magnetic coil and then put it back together. Now it only runs toward the engaged position. Pretty weird how it only operates in one direction.

If you open the door the belt doesn't move unless you manually rotate the motor. Then when you close it, the belt won't move until you nudge it. I don't understand this at all. I mean if the circuit was damaged the motor wouldn't spin at all. All the fuses are fine. Is there a relay for changing the direction of the motor and if we could find them on our cars?

92GSR, that fuse should fix the problem. That is exactly what mine did.

HOWEVER:
When it did it for mine, my tach did not work nor did a few lights on the gauge cluster. (Brake light, check engine.. ect..)

thanks for the feedback, youve been alot of help, my tach and lights still work so im beggining to think its not the fuse, and from what i hear its a pricey fix to replace the seatbelt system, looks like its time to buy racing seats and harness:D

Actually, I'm quite sure if anything goes wrong with the seatbelts they are covered by a warranty that never expires.

dont quote me, but when this first happened if i remember correctly i talked to my brother who is a honda tech,(unfortunately he lives 3.5 hrs away) and he told me their honda dealership in particular, and hes not sure if every honda dealership does this, will only replace the actual belt or buckle, or the thing that rolls the seat belt back in, other than they dont replace the motors or anything electical that goes in making the seatbelt work.

Hmm, well if that fuse is good i'm not sure. The gauges may still work with that fuse bad. It did exactly that though, you could force them up.. but as soon as you opened the door it would go down.
