so... after some trial and error... along with some googling, the victor x wasn't needed since its more for an aggressive all out build, plus it fucking
HUGE [thats what she said, lol]. so instead i went with the skunk2 pro series intake manifold, its great for my mild build and i've heard nothing but good news about them. i took some pics to show the difference. for anyone thinking about doing this install, its a pain in the ass but it is a bolt on part. i also found out that if you want to use the hondata intake manifold gasket... you gotta replace the studs on the head with longer ones. in my case i couldn't use it, you are barely able to thread the nuts on. On another note, you need to use a non v-tec throttle pulley, itr/ls throttle cable along with the bracket
Parts needed:
1x pro series manifold
1x intake manifold gasket
1x itr throttle cable & cable bracket
1x non v-tec throttle body pulley
kinda sucks cause i wanted to go with a edelbrock setup. now i need to find a trade/sell my throttle body wit ha skunk2
.
oh btw... MY CAR STARTED!!! finally, after all these years
an intense feeling, its been sitting around for a lil over 2 years since the motor had a spun bearing. gutted and rebuilt. After the turn of the key and listening to the motor turning over for a couple seconds... hearing the motor starting and running was the best feeling. :thumbs up
mad smoke came out, the header started to glow... the beginning of a fresh motor. its reving kinds high tho so i need to check for a vacuum leak or if i plug in the wrong sensor somewhere. the biggest hurdle of it is over... a couple things here and there, then its time for an alignment and a dyno tune! paint job last, puahaha
