So hey guys I just got my first car which is a 1995 Acura Integra RS 4-door. Ive been looking through the site for a couple weeks now but I still havent been able to make a list of all the things I need. I know that it all depends on personal preference but what do you guys think should be the first set of mods a beginner should should do.

If you guys would like me to post pictures up just msg.

Sorry if it sounds like a stupid question but thanks if your answer.

Is you car auto or 5 spd? normally when people get there first car the main thing is maintenance. Then think about mod's. I would think for basic mod's we would normally do I/H/E.

I made sure I got a manual. I brought it to my dads friends shop and they looked over it, fixed the break line and a few other things. They should it was alrite.

The car itself has:
Magna Flow muffler,
no tint (Prolly getting 20 percent or around that)
cold air intake

and other random stuff.

It also came in midnight blue(custom)

post some pics...

id do what JGvtec said first. get it running right then work on the fun stuff.

with what you have on there now...id do a full tune-up and get a header/catback for it

Just having the muffler doesnt do anything but make it loud

rear hatch lock is hard to jiggle. i would keep it i had to crawl through it before.
Did your hatch release lever inside the car break? I disabled my hatch lock, and now the only way it could be opened is from inside the car...I feel safer with it that way..;)

First things I'd do would be maintenance and get a security system.
At the moment I have a Viper alarm system. I know it works because I tried to break into it to see if it worked.

And im sorry but I don't know what those things you guys are talking about lol

But I will get maintenance done this week. just gotta find the time.

What do you not understand what they are talking about? All of the terms they have used are common items that many tuners typically do. A quick search on google will net you the answers you seek. I will do one better and cover what you are probably unsure of.

(Breather mods)
Intake: Upgrades the stock congested air intake system with a larger diameter pipe and higher flowing filter.
Header: Replaces the stock, cast exhaust manifold. Improves the rate at which exhaust is expelled out of the car.
Cat back: The exhaust from the catalytic converter and back. This is the piping from the cat up to and including the muffler.

Do you have any prior automotive knowledge? Or are you just going to get your dad's friend to do all the work? Not trying to be rude but it helps to know whether we need to explain everything in depth or if we need to break everything down for you.
