Cup Holders

I hate cup holders. You always wish they were bigger or smaller. I had a big slurpie and it fell i looked where it dropped and i rode up the Lifetime Fitness curb. :smackself No damage don't worry.

my bad didnt pay a lot of attention, it was late. i remember someone on here just built a box to put in the middle of the rear floorboard.

heres that THREAD (its about the G3s though) they're might be a link to the box in there also. its mostly people whining though so you might want to skim it quickly. haha

I like the cup holders that pull out of the slot below the radio.

As for the size, well I noticed Chevy's have nice cup holders. My blazer for example, big enough to fit a large drink.. but it has rubber around the edge of it so you can put a smaller drink in and it still holds it.

The rubber is pretty thin and folds down easily, but seems to fit smaller drinks snug.
Not to mention it has a surplus of cup holders. One in each door and then two in the center lol.

I may have to just spend a day making a custom center console for this thing.. fiberglass ftw!

dude just fine something like a cup that use the most that is the right size and form one up with fiberglass and bondo that will fit where you want it to go. im thinking about pulling out the piece that sits around the e brake and making a little console big enough that i can place my arm on it comfortably and have a spot for two cups about the size of a thirty two ounce. and if you use stuff smaller you can pick some of those rubber inserts at a junk yard and make slits for them to go in like you have on your blazer.

I was thinking of pulling out the center console and using fiberglass to modify.
It isn't quite next on the list, but it will be one of the first things I get done when the car is out of the shop and driving daily.

Don't they sell different types of universal cup holders at autozone or napa?

Thanks for the link. I'm not sure where I would mount the cup holders sold at autozone or whatever though. Not really a good place anywhere on these cars lol.

they make some that hook into the air vents ..... Lol don't ask me why

Yay! Now I can heat up my cold beverage lol.

I actually remember reading that thread, but the images took so damn long on my dialup that I moved on. I tried searching for it but didn't find it..
