Buying A 93 GSR

Hey everyone, I am about to purchase a 93 GSR from my mechanic and was wanted to introduce myself. I've been wanting to get back into a Honda as my DD for a while now. My turbo 350Z is costing me an arm and a leg to drive everyday. I was actually taking my Z to the shop for a clutch and asked him if he knew anyone was a 90's Honda for sale and he walked me over to this clean 93 GSR that runs great and while it needs paint the body is solid. He told me 1600. I'm really looking forward to modifying a car that will not break the bank like my Z does. I have no interest in turbocharging, but think it would be nice to build the body to JDM spec and the basic N/A mods.

Are there any common issues that I should look out for. I've researched the B17 some and seen that it's a B16 with a different stroke. I don't want to overload you guys with noob questions but any wisdom would be appreciated. I will post pics as soon as its mine.

She's about to be garaged for a little while so I can slowly work toward a new turbo set up.

Another one with my old S2000. The only pic I have of them together

I'm not planning to go extreme with it. It will have to have a set of Work RSZ-R's as they have always been my favorite wheels, but they are such a pain to find. I'm researching the difference between the USDM and JDM bodies now. I have an Alpine CDA-9835 that will go in the day I get it and I'm also searching to see what if my spare set of Focal K2's will fit up front. Its a bummer that that the Mugen twin loop is not made for the DA and I can't find nothing on Spoon or T1R either.

I'm not a big fan of the 350, but yours is pretty nice! Let's see more pictures!
Heres the bay

121K. This is what sold it to me. You dont see maty DA GSR's running around and as much fun as my Z has been to help build, it going to be even more fun making this little fella unique and my own because parts are so much more affordable.

Thanks for the welcome everyone

What's Integra?
sounds like a good buy to me, but 93s are always gonna have a problem, especially if a mechanic told u 1600. still, some money into fixing it up (to become daily driver only) will be worth investment.

sweet 350z btw... im still a fan of 1980s 300zs

What are some of the common problems? I know that any 17 year old car is going to have problems come up, but I'm just curious if there is anything specific I need to look for.
