I am having the manifold coated in JET HOT, it looks great and is supposed to lower temperatures by 400 degrees. I am also using a turbo blanket made out of crushed lava rock to cut down on heat transfer and of course I am heat wrapping the AC lines. Even though the turbo will be no where close, I am building this thing for the long haul in Arizona heat.
Again...lol you sound like you are doing exactly what I'm doing. I also plan to wrap my downpipe and wastegate pipe going into the DP. Will probably also run my fan/fans on all the time too in the summer time.

LOL, right on! I believe that is the manifold I am using. The shop who is doing all the machine work on my block is close to spoolin performance.

I am using a Garrett T3T04E .57 Trim Turbo.

The manifold is so short to provide clearance for all the amenities we want to keep that it holds the turbo so close to the block that you have to shave some unnecessary metal on the block to make room for the turbo, its on the side closest to the transmission.

I have heard people say the Log Style manifolds have limitations as to how much power you can put through them but I am not sure. on occasion I plan on running as much as 25Lbs of boost.

Sounds good! When are you going to get your turbo and all put on? I'm going to follow your build closely! If you don't mind, PM me with your progress or make a thread. Very interested in knowing what I can expect...

No problem, I do have a thread called my 94 LS Build thread lol like everyone else.

The hole motor is being built right now. LS Vtec, Sleeved 2.0L, Arias Pistons, Eagle Rods, Supertech valve springs, Retainers and Valves.

I am going to break my motor in when it is done before I put on a turbo kit. probably 500 miles.

The cam wasn't that big. It was a 248/248 duration and 576/576 lift cam from Anderson Ford Motorsports. The motor is a stock block 5.0 stroked to a 331. It made 456rwhp/410rwtq N/A but I had to use this car as a daily driver so after driving it around for a couple month it got to where it was too much. Anything below 2,300rpms the car would buck pretty bad. So I dropped in a baby Comp cam and now it drives like stock but I lost some power. Now its down to 418rwhp/393rwtq.

I will see if I can get an in car video tonight going through some gears. :)

Back on topic I saw this last night.... http://www.clubintegra.com/board/showthread.php?t=50153 Car has alot of mines but man does it look like its been taken care of. I really need to get on the ball and sell this Z71 so I can get in an Integra. The hard part is going to be after I sell the truck and have money in hand, holding out for the right Integra and not jumping on something not so great. I'd love to find a low mileage LS 5 speed.

Ya, finding a good platform to start with is tough in the import arena. Nearly every one has been beat to shit. I am the original owner of my 94 LS so I am lucky in that respect. Keep searching, that car did look clean though.
