Installed Sparco seat in my DA

Finally had a little bit of time yesterday so my friend and I modified the bracket to bolt in.

Took about 40 minutes because we were working in garage and car was parked in street, spent alot of time walking back and fourth.

seat went in super easy. Just had to extend the front 2 tabs 3/4" and then move the other front tab over 1"

I noticed that the seat sits about 1" off center (to the drivers door) it's not that bothersome at all, as I always sat with arm on the door arm rest it's a natural feel.

The only thing that bothers me is the fact that the seat sits a little higher than stock. I expected to sit about the same as stock. I used sparco bracket and slider rails. I'm pretty sure I can get the seat to sit an inch lower when I have time to mess with it.

I also have to make a bracket to hold the retractable belt. I'm in no rush for harnesses as I'd prefer coilovers and wheels first.

For some reason my passenger side retractable belt is stuck all the way in. I e tried pulling the fuse, jumping wires, taking the cover off and prying the bar pieces to the mechanism. No luck getting it back out. Looks like I'm going to Honda dealer tomorrow. Good thing my stock pass seat is in so they can't say I tampered with anything.

I've gotten used to how high it sits, but I'm going to do my best to drop it one inch lower when I have some free time. I'm 95% done with the bracket for the automatic seat belt. Spare time is VERY minimal working 7days a week.

I'll snap more pictures tomorrow when it's day light out.

Finally got around to welding up the passenger bracket two weeks ago, and had a little time today so I decided to put passenger seat in. Im glad it's finally in my car and out of my laundry room where it's been since begining of November!

I love them. I wasn't in the market for seats, but my buddy said 400$ takes seats, sliders, and bracket. All legit sparco, and MINT. They were in 3 of his track cars, which was always trailered to tracks. I couldn't pass this deal up, because I can easily get 600 for them. Plus, 400$ wouldn't even get me fake brides with universal sliders!
