Hi , i am soon gonna be going turbo on my gsr and i know its not to safe to be pushing over 300 on the stock block so before i send it out and get block work i wanna know how fast it would be with only 280 , 290 hp. so does anyone know what kinda seconds a integra gsr would run on a quarter mile with around that horse??

Welcome to Club Integra. I looked up a quarter mile calculator thats based on weight and wheel horsepower, here are the numbers ~

95 integra gsr, 2667 weight, 280 wheel horse power would run 12.347648496332404 seconds on the quarter mile.

Same weight @ 290 wheel horse power would run 12.204058168444254 seconds.

If you had a 250hp integra it would run 12.823018397787331 seconds.

Please note this is just a calculator I found online. It doesn't calculate shifting times, or off the line responses. There are many variables that can alter your quarter mile time. Also just to point it out, the process of getting your car tuned after you install your turbo is probably the most important part of your build. Find a good tuner and you should be good.

sooo your asking if you should get it built to hold 300hp or run 280HP on stock internals? I wouldn't run 280HP on stock internals because it wouldn't be as reliable as a built engine. Theres 3 factors of a build, cheap, fast and reilable pick 2, cheap and reliable and it wont be fast, cheap and fast and it wont be reliable and reliable and fast and it wont be cheap.

I would say if your already thinking of building the block, then do it. Just to be on the safe side. Now out of my own interest, what kind of Psi would you have to run to achieve such numbers? I realize that Psi isn't everything, and turbo Mapping, size of the turbo, etc makes a huge difference, aswell as supporting mods. But Just a rough estimate?

Tune it to 10psi and have fun you will probably win 90% of the races you come across on the Highway

I know they make kits that you can use so that you keep both the power steering and the ac... just have to look around - Keep me posted what all you find out because next summer I plan on doing the same thing to mine

well i am putting everything together my self , kits are too much money. and i know there,s plenty of ways to keep the power steering and a/c but i am not sure if i can without having to change or move my a/c components. i would assume with the right manifold i can fit everything as is .... does anyone know what header i would need ??

log style manifold to keep a/c p/s. 300whp on a fwd honda is pretty fast.

You can also find A/C compatible ramhorns and top mounts. 300hp on a stock motor is a good number. Look into a Garrett 57 trim if you can find one, its a great turbo, cheap, and will easily reach your goals. You can expect around 110mph in the 1/4 with 300whp, which should put you at mid 12s.
