Why low comp. If hes got the buck high comp and mild to high boost can be built and stable buts its a rout most people dont do. But if done right you can hit some pretty damn impressive numbers.

depends on what he wants to do with the car. If he wants peek hp then FI, if he wants to do something like motorsports supercharged or NA wouuld be a little more applicable.

the whole part about about N/A being more cheaper for the power your wanting is a common misconception it would actually cos way more and it would be close to impossible obviously turbo is what you want and since your gonna drag race a turbo is better because supposedly turbo lag is your friend (i got that off of a super street magazine) and i think the turbo should help with your MPG if your not in the boost area all the time which would make it a good DD please correct me if im wrong in any of this

AFI Turbo sells a mean kit for like 2700 i think. All u would need other than that is injectors, fuel pump and regulators, and obviously engine management. Its a nasty kit for the price. AFITurbo.com

you also gotta think if ur going for an all motor monster u wont be usin pump gas to put down 300 or more hp ull be usin expensive ass drag racin full which means u wont be daily drivin a 20mpg at 8$ a gallon car on the streets lol so i would say go for low compression pistons and do a turbo build easier to reach ur power goal and also wont cost u alot of money on fuel after gettin it built
