So my previous blow off valve fell apart so I got a new one its an hks type but its a cheaper knockoff one and whenever I am on the gas it makes a constant loud whistle, instead of the normal whistle/chirp when you let off the gas. I even unplugged the vacuum from it and it didnt change anything.... any thoughts?

rating? im only running 10psi, but it maked noise from 2psi and up, my guess its just a cheap bov

The HKS is a pull type blow off valve, so if it's doing what you're saying my guess is that it's defective. If you're only running 10psi, I'd just find a 1G DSM compressor bypass valve(commonly called a BOV). It wont give you the same sound as the HKS knock off, but it will hold the boost properly.

Side note: I have had an HKS SSQV on my Talon before, it is worth the money to buy a legit HKS blow off.
