i still dont get what you mean by 'off your godspeeds'?

i never had a set of godspeeds. i was looking to get those because of the preload. but the koni yellows are stiffer at max dampening compared to the godspeeds. i dont know what to get. im looking for something specific. i know i could get custom spring rates. i just want a damper that could get stiff as well.

i dont wanna go LSV. not smog legal in cali. too much of a headache to deal with.
as for the exhaust, im looking at the spoon N1. its small so i dont have to worry about it hitting the ground on a bump or dip. doesnt sound that bad either. borrowed my buddie's for a while some time ago.

i dont wanna go LSV. not smog legal in cali. too much of a headache to deal with.
as for the exhaust, im looking at the spoon N1. its small so i dont have to worry about it hitting the ground on a bump or dip. doesnt sound that bad either. borrowed my buddie's for a while some time ago.

oh someone said you were using em. and then when you said you were using something different i was confused. you never had em though...lol so nevermind. I was excited for the opportunity to pick some up used if you were using em and has just taken em off or something. :/

what would be better as far as suspension set up,, hurd the koni yellows are fairly descent and just pair it up with a nice set of coils. but if your goin to spend that much why not go with a full coilover like FnF or godspeed or something.

lol! yeah. i was looking to get godspeed or koni yellow/gc setup.

as i said before, the conclusion i came to, koni+gc's will give a stiffer ride thab the godspeed.
the godspeed has preload.

so im stuck between the two.

explain preload please. you can pm if you dont wanna blow up your build thread...you may be a bit beyond caring though. haha

its just compressing the spring as much as you want to raise the spring rate if needed. like, adding weight to the spring without having to add weight to your car.
