Body first, then Motor!
I don't have pics of mine but now I have hertz hsk 165 components in front and rear, jl 3.5 inch c2s in my door panel. That's all powered by a Rockford fosgate p500-4 and RF 150-2. Then three jl w1v2s in custom integra jl vantage box that goes in spare tire compartment powered by RF 1000.1. I'll probably switching my subs too two RF p3s in a seventh order enclosure though.

JL's good shiz bro :thumbs up i have all JL in my 4Runner. In both the teggy and 4Runner, it's all stealth install, you wouldn't be able to tell it was all aftermarket unless i told you it was 8) but i've got the Polk MM6501 6 1/2" woofers and tweeters, Infinity 692.9i 6x9's, Kicker 500 watt amp and Pioneer deck, all installed by me :) this is one of the only pics i have lol, the underside of my 6x9's, wires all tucked up in the frame :D.... Old wires hanging down still, need to get around to taking those out.... lol

You should really try other brands than RF for subs. there are so many great options out there

This is a good suggestion, but i dont blame him for sticking with certain brands, all personal preference, i like JL so much because all of their products are the best quality ive come across through all my experiences, my actual work is in the audio/video industry so i kno what's good and what's crap

yes all personal preference, until you hear other stuff that sounds as good or better for the same amount of money (or less, often).

brands like

Fi Audio
Resonant Engineering
Image Dynamics
Sound Splinter
TC Sounds
Eclipse
Digital Designs
and many, many more

I've been in this industry professionally for 5 years as well, JL did do a wonderful job at marketing themselves in appearance to be the best car audio out there. They do make nice stuff, but its a bit over priced IMO

Oh also, Hertz makes great stuff, glad to see them in there

I agree the pricing sucks, but you pay for what you get, just my :twocents:, i have had the same 12" JL sub that has been used in 3 cars and almost on a daily basis for 8 years and it has NEVER had a single issue and is still one of the best sounding subs ive heard in a car. But yeah, if you like the sound of something else that is cheaper or whatever, more power to ya, it's all personal preference.
