it'll shine if you strip the paint, that is if its painted o_O? imo I would rather have a black ws2, less attraction toward police. Also, a black ws2 is more expensive than a polished ws2.

its a n1 xD prolly pretty loud
xD bro have you tried whipping it down n cleaning it off? and the outlet of the pipe? I never tried polish on an exhaust, only because... it gets pretty hot and i just thought... maybe it might like melt off or melt on o_O.

nah.. it wont melt anything..

my oem LS axleback

im not sure if it'll be the same with the apex n1 but this is what i did..

800 grit wet sand
1000 grit wet sand
2000 grit wet sand
nevr-dull
and about a total of 4 hours. thats just the face of it.

i just picked it up today from a dude in craigslist.. everything was in great condition, just dirty... maybe i shouldnt clean it.. if it attracts more attention i can get jacked. specially since i dont got an alarm/ anti theft system in my teg.

I have done my tip on my accord mugen exhaust, I did wet sanding, cant recall the grit, then used this green stuff my detailer gave me, it was a heavy polish and then mothers metal polish

try using regular car wax. thats what i use on my n1 sometimes :thumbs up

in the mean time, use the padlock in the steering column trick ;)

i hear that mother's polish works wonders.. was your exhaust mounted? mine isnt.. i should take advantage of that.

i wanna do the ol' school kill switch, with the actual plug that kills the engine, not the scanner thing.

Keep It Clean
If you have the muffler off the car.. Simply wash it, dry it...sand it with 2000grit sand paper and than use a Polishing Compound.

I have some Turtle Wax Polishing Compound and I use it all over the car...on the windows, CAI tube, and my HUGE Magnaflow muffler...

I've used one container for months now and I still having used half of it :)

Use a terry cloth or an old gym sock!

You could also use a heavy grit Rubbing Compound, than Polishing Compound. Than spray some wax on a micro and apply evenly...wipe on-wipe off

I'm a huge fan of the PowerCone with Mag & Aluminum Polish paste by Mothers. PowerMetal liquid is also good.
