Find a new illumination source, thats the common reason for this issue your having.just put a little bigger fuse in, should be fine.

Nope, sure didnt. Bought the car with the stereo already in tact. Everything was fine the first week, and then all of a sudden stop working after I washed underneath the hood.You put a headunit in didnt you....

Jesus Christ! Yeah that's a good way to start your car on fire or maybe you'll get lucky and the worst thing that will happen is all your wiring insulation will melt and destroy every electrical circuit in the car. I mean come on, there's a reason why the warning is printed right on the fuse cover. USE THE SAME FUSE RATINGjust put a little bigger fuse in, should be fine.
