Ecu Chipping

so i read somewhere that chipping ecu's at night and day can alter it in some way or something like that so its best when its done at night?

sounds pretty stupid to me but idk is it true?

i would pull up the link but i got a stupid address bar that doesnt show me the address i am on and i cant find

Only if they were using some type of real time variable to make the chip best for your setup. As far as actually installing the chip or anything of that nature, you could do it whenever you want, there is nothing sun or moon would do to better the install

If someone is tuning the car, it is better in some peoples eyes to do it at night to get the most power out of your car because of cooler temps and other better variables

the reason is im getting a b16 head on my b20 and its two black guys and they had a shop but now
they dont and i dont know to much about ecu and tunning so it sounded sketchy

i dont know to much about ecu's but i know a lot more since i posted this
you can get a none vtec ecu and hit your vtec of a vtec controller or even a tachometer
and u dont need to get the exact computer like im using a po6 for my b20 b16 vtec and going
to hit vtec off of a vtec controller.

remember the ecu is what tells the motor what to do(brain)
it will run way better if its chipped and tuned because it knows how much fuel to give it and when
and other stuff that i dont know about lol.
if u got a gorrilla brain in your body would your body do everything that it was normally capable of...
ill let u guess on that one

as for grecain motor idk what that is lol

Okay will i have straight b18 non-vtec right now. However, i'm thinking about goin b16 head, OBDO-OBD1 Conversion, 8lb Flywheele, Stage 3 clutch, then chipping edu with 2step...What are comments or suggestions about that.

No tune needed. You will have a stock head on another stock bottom. You will just need a VTEC ECU to run your car.

Tuning/chipping is only needed when you make changes such as the intake/exhaust (though your ECU can adjust for these changes on its own) and when you start swapping internals (Pistons, Cams, changing the stroke, bore, etc).

Chipping should ONLY be done by a tuner, when your car is on a dyno. Basemap tunes are not something you want to run your car on for long. Every car is different, and a "one size fits all" chip will not help you. It is a GIMMICK.

okay so i have a b20 with a b16 head do i need a tune because they say i do and i smell gas.
as for the one chip fits all ya there stupid bullshit faggets lol
