Problem with Blinker Turning Lights....

In my previous post, some damn alarm technician messed up my blinker lights. On Monday, I went back to complain. They still refuse to fix it and offered to install power locks to my car. It really ticked me off but I decided to contact the BBB (Better Business Bureau). Already started my case so they gonna get whats coming to em. In the mean time, I gotta fix my turn signals. It lights up fine, hazard light works fine... only the blinker turning lights don't work. Can anyone let me know what can be causing this and let me know where I can find it in details? I'm not much for an electrician but I can do engine work, repairs, body work and so on... I'm thinking its the Blinker Relay and I did bought a used one off a Junk Yard just in case. Let me know from you guys. Thanks

Try tracing the alarm wires and see what they hooked the alarm up to. The common alarm wire to the lights is white. They mite have tapped that wire into ur signal wires. Some alarms actually have schematics on the alarm itself. I know thats really dumb of them. If in all doubt take the whole system out, especially if its that crappy of an istall. A good sign of a crappy install is a colorful spaghetti bowl of wires under the dash.

Yea, I took it off already. It was tap into my ignition. Its still not working.

Anyone know where the blinker/turning signal switch relay is located? Damn...

Theres a relay on the fuse box. try to put on your hazards and if you hear the click like from your blinkers the relay is working. What may have happened is they didnt put the dash plugs in sometimes. You can rip out your dash and replug the plugs together. They are all color coordinated. Did you go to IB customs on sutterville?

I'll try that. My Hazards do blink and it does make the clicking noise. I went to Discount Car Stereo off of Franklin Blvd. Thanks. Hopefully, this will help me solve the problem.

if its making a blinking sound the relay is okay. They probably unplugged a dash wire. on the DC cars most of the plugs fit with each other but all the plugs HAVE to be color matched.

Damn.... i disconnected the wires and reconnected them. It still doesn't work. So many wires all around stuffed up inside my driver dash. Can't still get it to work...
