Are you talking about the illuminas? I would steer clear of those personally, I bought a set of four and the fronts blew out after about a week. I could not believe it. I just got some OEM ones. I still have the rear ones on my car, those have been fine

Yea something was clearly wrong there....

Ive always run Tokico's without problems. I ran the illuminas with Tein S-Tech's on my teg and they were a dream. I ran the blues with gc-coilovers on my GST and they were a little harsh (due to the GC's) but never an issue besides that. Eventually when I save up the $600 im going to put Tokico D-Spec's on the WRX.

BTW, you do know that the illumina's have a lifetime rebuild warranty. Most of the Tokico's do, I think its just the blues and lower models that dont. They just have a 1-year warranty expires.

i did some research and i think im gonna get k sport full coilovers
Did you research their lifespan and rebuild costs? To rebuild them its costs like $2-300 short of buying a brand new set. And they dont tend to have a long life span. I see alot of these $800 coilovers start to leak after a year or so, which is oh-so conveniently just after their 1 year warranty.

Its your choice ultimately:twocents:

i actually have not researched the life span and rebuild costs. im gonna have to look into this now that youve brought it up. i mean ive heard nothing but great reviews about them but ill check anayways. you wouldnt happen to know the average lifespan of them would you?

Oh yea those $800 shocks from the various companies are great. Its hard to beat them for the price. And if it werent for their reliability id buy them. But at $600+ for a rebuild and an average of a 1-year lifespan no thanks! But yea always remember there is a reason anything is cheap, they skimped out somewhere...
