installing a header

i need some help. im buying a dc sport 4 2 1 header from my buddy and he said it was from a 90 tegg.

so my question is how do you install it?
unbolt the screws and bolt it in?

do i need to buy some new parts to replace some of my stuff?

need help club integra :)

Pretty much. I'd plan on replacing the gaskets on both ends since they are likely sub-par on a car of that age. Just make sure to bolt the header to the head using the proper torque sequence on the bolts to ensure the mating surfaces are true. Using a torque wrench isn't a bad idea either to get the proper squeeze on the gaskets to prevent exhaust leaks.

i second that. i would go ahead and put some high heat loc tite on the studs to so you dont have the problem like i had with the nuts backing off.also check and see if your cat has been taken off, if so u will want to check for fittment in case so retard worked on your exhaust like i found out with mine. had to have it cut and a new pipe welded in its place to get mine to fit.

i third that. it must be a honda thing cuz i replaced my header gasket didnt tightn it in sequance and well i hate hot exhast. thats all i can say.

cause the one that i got didnt come with it...

Just get a new gasket man, I agree on what everyone is trying to say. It's pretty much bolt in and out just do bolt it in the proper sequence to avoid cracking and warping

i dont think they sell those gaskets so looks like im gonna use my old ones ;(

hopefully no exhaust leaks or something :)
