I went cruising to get a few races in. My first race ever, was against a Mustang, V6. It was pretty beat up, but I didn't care. We did a professional race. We honked 3 times, then gunned it. Whew... he beat me at the take off, but I got him in the end. He was pretty mad. He left pretty quickly after that.

OK, First off! I've owned 3 Gen 2 Teg's in the last 6 years and i love them! And i also owm a Mustang which is a V6. And i will tell you right now that your car with The little mods you have DID NOT BEAT IT! Hate to make ya look like a fool:shock: but a friend and i went to the track with my cars and we swapped between cars and the Stang took it every time. So PLEASE dont act like your car is hot on rice and like the others said, Don't talk about street racing on here. It is highly frowned upon.:thumbs up

You must have me mistaken. It was a pretty beat up mustang. My car is fast, but would not even compete to a normal beat up mustang. I was not trying to say my car was supernaturally fast. I was just happy to have beaten one, even though it was beat up. lol, I know my car has a long way to go, and would only beat a regular mustang with a turbo on mine.

Anyway. I do agree, white wheels would be a pain. and a white car would be a pain. I guess I will just keep my color and look for new wheels.

16'.. why smaller? just wondering, do the wheels give away the stock'ness of the car?

True, the real reason I put them on was to raise the car. the guy before me heated the springs, so it dropped lower. Getting higher wheels made the car higher and not hit on every rock.

But I will be getting new struts soon, and raising the car.

Do you think wheels with a "lip" on them would be good?

i say if you are going to get a set of wheels with a lip like on the pic that Alyssa posted...then don't raise your car...it won't look right with a raised stance...

hmmm, I was meaning a lip like those... they do look cool. but I hate hitting on things when I go over bumps. what is the advantage of having a lowered car?

itll be pointless to take your car to the track cause its an auto.. unless you upgrade alot of stuff..

if i were you knowing the fact that your car is an auto, i would just go for looks.

just my .02 cent.
