b16 vs b18a1

da9 owners which one u think would be best b16 or b18 and im planing to go turbo with the two but i want to no what best...... and i would like to know the pros n cons of both motor

a turbo adds compression to your motor, so you don't want to start out with a high compression motor or you will blow your piston rings, head gasket, or the whole block more easily, you can go with a b16 but you would need low compression pistons.

that doesnt matter much.
you can use b16 with lower boost pressures to get the same result.

Keep It Clean
B18A1 + better rods, better rod bolts, built head, and you'll be good to go.

B16 for all motor

b18>b16 just cause it has vtec doesnt mean anything a good driver should take a b16 swaped da in a drag deffinatly on circuit

I'd say b20 block and b18 head. You'll want the extra low end torque due to turbo lag.
B20 and B18 heads are the same. Cyl head codes PR4 and P75. The only different LS head is the P8R, which you will only find on some imported B20's.
