I have a pretty much stock 1990 ls and i want to put a header and an intake manifold on it but should i also add a throttle body to it for more power?

thats right.
No, a throttle body will not help your car AT ALL with those modifications u listed, don't waste your money

Well thanks haha XD is there anything else i could do for more power other than a turbo? or anything else thats super expensive?

thats right.
Search around this website, that question gets asked at least once a week
But basically besides the bolt ons I/H/E the only other way to gain notable power besides FI is to build up the engine NA

Keep It Clean
The best way to make more power for your car, is either take the engine out rebuild it with better performance parts, or swap it for a better engine.

You wanna go fast? You gotta pay for it.

yep i agree, and there is nothing cheap in our motors. i have the same one and found 40 over rock pistons for 100 bucks out of cali and thats the cheapest i have found for pistons that i have heard r good everyone else r 300 plus. if you want to do it stick to our plan and DO NOT take any short cuts. thats the only way you will get a reliable motor that last.

If you're talking prices for parts, next to D series motors, B is the next cheapest. I don't know what other kind of make motor you can get up to 300whp with a couple thousand dollars...

i can build a 350 in to a 383 strocker and port the heads and punch it 40 over for under a grand and have 750 whp. im saying compared to other makes of vehicles hondas are one of the more expensive vehicles to build. but i wouldnt trade mine for another make. anyways like i said before build the engine from the bottom up then get a throttle body. skunk2 has a 68 n 70 mm cheaper then anyone else i have found. ive heard there really good. but u dont need it with a stock motor. if you dont want to build it go buy a full exhaust hks preferably n cold air intake, get a adjustible fuel pressure regulator and advance the timing a little and you will get a few more horsepower oh and make the exhaust 2 1/2 piping.anything else and you might as well build.
