I just bought a 91 with blown rings. I want to know what engines are compatable with the b18a1 with cable clutch. i would like a b18c but dont know if it would work.
All be series motors will drop right in. B18A1, B18B1,B18C1,B18C5, B16. For the VTEC motors, you will have to do a little wiring for VTEC to engage, as well as get a different ECU.

This is true, but I'd stay away from the old B20 that came in the Preludes. That one is the bastard of the b series world. If you want to go 2.0, get a b20b or b20z out of a CRV.
