i currently have a jdm gsr with a cable ls tranny what kind of tranny should i get since it grinds in 2nd 3rd 4Th and pops out of 3rd

If you have a cable tranny, you need to replace it with a cable tranny.

if u want short gears get the b16 found in crx sir tranny is great had that on my car.
the gs-r tranny 1.7l is good as well most of them have lsd n also preety rare.
if your going turbo get a l.s tranny. hydro is goood but cable is better in my opinion.
