93 Interga 1.8 3 dr hatch back timing belt snapped on highway changed timing belt/ water pump / plugs & fuel filter and made several attempts to adjust timing , car still stalls and runs exteremely rough and stalls out please need help what should I try next ?
You may have bent some valves on the head from snapping the timing belt. Do a compression test and that should tell you if you have any leaky valves. Other than that, you gotta be sure that all of your valve timing is perfect or it will run bad.
You definitely need to have the compression checked. If(well,it's highly likely) you bent some valves, have the valves replaced, the head decked, and get a fresh head gasket.
i remember when my belt snapped on my da9 n damn did it suck but i got really lucky that none of tha vavles were bent cause that would've been alot of money 2 get tha parts not including tha belts n when i replaced tha timing belt i replaced all my belts just to insure that all would run with no trouble n when my car started i was in so releif. It did suck on yur part being that it didnt work out as it did for me. hope u find tha valve that was messed up!
