Ok, that is teh secks.
how cant it be secks if you say flush is teh ghey? :(

anywho.. i recently changed out my clutch.. check out the pics!!

and something i made when i pulled the axles out to replace em with some new ones..

well.. ive got a question for you guys..

with my old clutch, it shifted smoothly into all gears. ever since i changed the clutch with new parts from exedy (stage 1 clutch kit), 1st is notchy, 2nd isnt as notchy as 1st, and 3rd isnt as notchy as 2nd. 4th and 5th is good. i resurfaced the oem flywheel and ive used syncromesh with the old clutch, drained the tranny, and refilled it with new syncromesh in the tranny.

i figured this would just be the break-in period but i just want to get some opinions..

last time it felt notchy like this, i had low tranny fluid. im POSITIVE ive filled the tranny to where its supposed to, and just a tad bit more to make sure but the notchy feeling is still there.

i didnt bleed the clutch fluid because i didnt have to add/refill it. i didnt open up the lines for air to get in so bleeding wasnt necessary.

when you say notchy, you mean hard to switch gears? where does the pedal engage?
yes. notchy as in a bit harder to get into the gears.

also, with my old clutch, id press it in, and it'd go into first in an instant. but now, i have to wait about a second and then it'll go in but notchy.

its like this tho..

-full stop, clutch pedal not pressed
-get shifter ready to get into first by applying pressure up into the 1st gear spot
-press clutch
-give it about a second, then it'll go in but notchy

but then does this stuff

-full stop with clutch pressed in already
-shift into 1st instantly but notchy

the pedal engages a lot lower than the old clutch was in. its been in for about a week so i got used to where it grabs. i had to slide the seat up a bit but yeah.. the engagement is near the bottom. id say about 2" or so.
