brake light won't turn off?

my brake light wont turn off and i cant find the problem. but wen i step out the car i did find some pieces of plastic on the floor mat so maybe i was thinking that could be something that broke off?

Yea that happen to me before and killed my battery. Look above brake pedal there will be a little hole for you to put the piece back in. I couldn't find mines that fell out so I took a soda can and cut a little peice of and jb welded across the hole.

ABS or emergency brake light? I think the Ebrake light is controlled by a button in the ebrake assembly.

If your actual brake lights are lit up, then its the brake light switch above the brake pedal.

yea but for me luckily my friend had called me to let me kno. i went to autozone and ask them bout it and they had given me some rubber stoppers and they worked like a charm

Just had to repair mine with a bolt and nut. Screw rubber grommets and plastic parts.
