My Jetta VR6 vs. Integra DC2! Uh Ohs!

something nobody mentioned was wether or not it was an ls vtec i'm not 100% on this but i don't think the b20 came in a vtec so if it was a straight b20 then he wouldn't have an 8k redline or the compression ratio of the gsr, and if it wasn't tuned and homie had cam gears and a fuel pressure regulator then it sounds like he really didn't know what he was doing. Theres just too much missing information in the story lol

The VR6's are pretty fast. It's, essentially, the same egine that's in the Audi TT. Well, that's what I was told to by a VW dealer anyway.

But I'd have to agree that given the weight and power of each car...it sounds like the better driver is what pulled this race off. Good Job!!

Then again, we really don't know what this guy with the GSR had under his hood since HE didn't exactly know himself. Haha-ha.

Great story. I like how you know you messed up in the beginning, but recovered for the win.

you should try on type-s or something
or maybe a TSX

its not really something to be proud of when you beat a smaler engine. but when that engine is faster then your bigger one thats another story.

well the displacement didn't really mean much. The VR6 engine makes only 170hp/tq @ the crank. His GSR makes around at least 170-190 at the wheels. And my old Jetta was heavier. Now, don't get me wrong i'm not dissing Hondas, I love em to death. I've got my ls/vtec civic and i love that beast!

It was a case of the inevitable driver mod. :lol:

(oh, and I could still pull stock typeS' in that Jetta lol) Oh how i miss her sometimes....
