suspension swap

ok, starting this thread again.... skunk2 doesn't have pro-c struts for my yr yet. So, new question is, if I got the pro-c for the '94 teg, what all is needed to get them onto my 91 DB1? I think it is just the front forks off a '94, but I could use some input. Any idea(s)?

everything that i have read said to just swap the front forks from DC2 onto them and they'll bolt right up.

the rears are 2" shorter (stock vs stock i believe they compared) and fronts are the same size, just different thickness where the fork clams on

lol, why didn't you say anything than Samurai. I am not worried too much about the diff in height. I am not dumping the car, I will lower it just a little but not by much, I like having clearance for speed bumps

Rather than doing the DA/DC hybrid suspension, get a coilover designed for your year model. You can get one from Tein, Function and Form, Omni Power, and some others.
I had the hybrid suspension on my DB1, you lose a lot of adjustability with it, and the rears are always slammed.

trying to keep the price under $1k. and getting the coilover diesigned would push me over that mark, already priced that out. But I know what you're saying, and I can fix the sagging back end prob. I am just looking for a good setup for autox'ing but still be good for daily driving

function form makes a coilover for the DA

1) You can get Tein basic dampers and F2 coilovers for much less than $1k
2) How do you fix the ride height of the rear with the hybrid suspension?

if you're looking for a suspension for autox you'd want something with adjustable dampening, which would cross tien basic and ff type I off the list

LOL mildsquare, ya not looking to be that stiff, this is my dd as well and I don't want to rattle my daughters brains out before she has a chance to use them. looking at 350 front 250 back. I am going with the Skunk2 Pro-c for the 94+ integra. To fix the ride height isn't to hard. just have to fab some stuff. Make spacers and put in longer bolts on top. Just like raising a truck on blocks for the leaf springs, only more to it. I am hoping I won't have a problem with it, but who knows, always an adventure right? :D

Keep this thread up to date with your fabrication. ;)

I will. But the fab work will only happen if I have a sagging issue with the back suspension. I am not sure I will, but you never know.
