1998+ Integra Tail Light trick?

I seen an Integra pass me by the other night, and the Tail Lights look like something is missing...it looks like something is missing between the marker light and the brake light, so what if you put your brake light Bulb-connecter in the signal spot and the signal in the brake-light socket.

So at night it will have your (MarkerLight-BrakeLight-Blinker-ReverseLight) !!

So instead of having that gap between the marker and the brake you'll have the marker and brake light all together...94-97 years cannot do this because its illegal to have a amber brake light.

(I hope this isn't in a thread someone posted already and I hope this isn't standard on the 98+ Integra's lmao)

Just a thought, might be a stupid idea lol sorry

I doubt anyone will know what you're talking about without a pic.

And btw, OEM is <marker<signal<brake<reverse -- reverse>brake>signal>marker

I'm talking about [<marker<brake<signal<reverse] --[ reverse>signal>brake>marker]

94 - 97 can do this assuming they are gsr models or have swapped for gsr tails. Although...I don't understand why they would.

Wow I didn't even know 94-97 gsr Integra's had solid red tails...!

But over all I don't even know if changing the signal for the brake is even possible without extending the wires

Do you have all red tail lights? Can you post pics?

LOL

I would be more than happy to post pictures of my idea...but I don't want amber brake lights..sorry mang. Maybe someone would see if this works? Or is it a stupid idea?

Having a gsr has nothing to do with having red tails. All models 98-01 have red tails USDM AND JDM. 94-97 all models have amber accents, USDM and JDM. I am not so sure on the UKDM, I know they have the pink instead of red in 98-01 but I'm not sure if its the same for 94-97.

Untrue...94 - 97 LS/RS/GS have amber turn signals. 94 -97 GS-R's have all red tails with out amber, that's USDM. I am unsure about JDM (and could honestly care less..I don't live in Japan)

And..off subject but I want to vent... the JDM nut swingers are really annoying with their jdm this, jdm that....everything is jdm. Do something because it functions...not because the Japanese do it.

Piss off lol people want JDM shit to make their ride different and personalized. Yeah its trendy but what the fuck ISN'T a trend? I'm sure chewing gum and taking a shit was a trend at one time..

I think OEM shit is tight as well as JDM, but when the driver thinks he's the king of the road for having something different is what is fucked up (And I'm a victom).

Thanks for your vent but keep those "JDM nut swingers" comments to your self.

Wow......Alrighty let me explain this through pics perhaps we will all learn something as a car forum.

Maybe because your GS-R and others you've seen have red tails doesnt mean that Acura/Honda decided to throw all reds tails on GS-R's only. Perhaps they were swapped out much like mine was. Let me ask you this why is it when you call Acura/Honda to ask them about these red tails, they will tell you there is only the ambers in 94-97.

Heres another pic from when they advertised the integra in 1996 (2nd pic)

Also about this JDM shit, all I was doing was being precise about what we were talking about. But if you want to go on rants about JDM this and JDM that....sigh here we go. I hate it when people on here think they know every damn thing there is to know when not researching and backing it up with proof. I hate coming on this forums and always reading people giving other members wrong information about how to fix their car or just general information. I hate when people say I hate JDM. Well news fucking flash you bought a damn Honda most if not everything is made in Japan. The fact that the US didn't get the same opinions as other countries doesn't mean cause people are buying it to copy a fad or trend. They do what they want because they like the way it functions or looks, sure these people out there that buy it just to say its JDM but who gives. Its their hard earned money to spend, let them do what they wish to do.........its like saying I lowered my car because its JDM, ummmm no its because I say other integras and I thought it was cool and it provide better overall handling to my car.
