DB's are pretty rare around where I live. there was a 96 gsr with 92k absolutely mint just like the one you picked up except it was dark green with black leather interior and the dealership wanted 6k. needless to say it was there for 2 days and sold.

Congrats man. You found a gem. I hope to find one similar someday, but I know it'll take a lot of time and patience. The fact that you found one gives me hope.

That's a really sweet find. But, what you did to get it, is outrageous, and just down right crazy! I would have understood, if it was a barn secret GT500, Charger/Challenger R/T, etc. But for a DB GSR? Fuckkk!

you're right bud it was crazy but all in good fun we made a little raod trip out of it and got a nice find!! :D The wife and I had a great time on the road driving just about half way across the U.S. I've always wanted to drive from coast to coast and this was like testing waters lol.

Oh, it's always all in good fun! But, you found such a sweet ride. In my neck of the woods, I would not be able to find a gem like that from a dealer. However, if I were to get one, it would be from craigslist with a "built" motor, some nice wheels and tires, suspension, and a type-r front. As far as titles go, it's pretty equal between salvage and clean.

WOW... that is a once in a lifetime pick up for a car like that. Now it deserves to not be in monster truck status... LOL
