To be honest, I didn't even read the first post. The ginormous paragraph AKA run on sentenced totally turned me off. But if you're looking for a legit shop, go to RACELINE in Temple City. :thumbs up

I recently just purchase a 93 Acura Integra Ls and wanted to start a project on it from motor swap to interior and exterior etc so I search for loco shops etc. I found one so I thought I’d try it out and called them up and bought one or two things and it went fine. Then the problem started when I bought some other stuff and they gave me the wrong part and couple days delay so I thought it was just some minor mistake or something but didn’t just happen. Once but twice on the same product and its about 20-25mins from where I stay at so that’s a bit of a drive back and forth for me and I just let it go and it was delaying on my part, I was trying to fix my car asap so I can do a swap and etc.

To make matters worse my cherry pick broke on me, I had limited tools at the time, I needed my car up running as soon as possible. I didn’t want to go thru the hassle of doing it myself and purchasing tools and cherry pick. I don’t have much time on my hand and my mistake again. So I ask them to swap it for me. They took it in the same day which was Tuesday. I spoke with the owner saying he was going to finish it by like Friday - Saturday night which sounds good. When Friday came around that didn’t happen. I waited there on Friday thinking it was going to be done and they didn’t do shit the car. It was the same when I brought it in. Saturday came, I went and check the car and it was left the same nothing, moved but collected only dust and top of that, things from my car were missing. Items I had brought in for my motor such as, radiator, distributor etc.

They were lost by them and they kept asking me where my distributor and stuff. I told them I brought everything with the car I seen some of my parts I brought in boxes were misplace and were place in different locations of the shop "mickey mouse". ( You basically got jacked by workers). They we’re Very unorganized, on top of that I didn’t trust the shop. I was frustrated but I kept it cool, because my car was still sitting in their shop and I didn’t really know them that well, I kept my cool. Monday rolls by I called he said it’s not going to be done until Wednesday. Now during the process of them fixing my car I purchase some misc parts, seats which I paid for ahead. It was suppose to be removed from another car that he had in his lot and put into mine. The promised parts we’re two front "Gsr cloth seats" which I didn’t get

He gave me some regular Ls seats instead. I didn’t even argue I just wanted my car out of there. Out of 4, I only received 3 motor mounts, which I paid in advance. While waiting on the last mount, it came in a ghetto ass plastic bag with new papers wrap around it. Up until this day I’m still waiting for the front mounts. I have been calling and texting but he keep telling me the same story. Every time I show up there and ask about the mounts, he would tell me the same thing. He would kiss ass. It has been going on for over 1 month and 1 week now.

I’ve been busy and haven’t got to it, but I been texting and asking about it for quite some time. How hard is it just getting one mount?? I dono whats the deal with this guy and his shop but he is a HASSLE, unorganized and make promises he can’t follow through. So if anybody is referred to a shop called JDMSPOT that is located in Santa Fe Spring, Ca, avoid that place. The guy and the shop is a hassle and they’re going to keep feeding you lies so they can draw you in and have you buy things and I’m not the only person that have to deal with these issues I ran into a few customers that told me the same scenario.

So if you’re dealing with him or thinking about going there don’t save you the trouble and time

Honestly dude no one will read this if you don’t spell check/ grammar check which is ALREADY activated when you type in a reply or thread box.

As for your car, next time you go to have your car fixed go to a shop that you are referred too, NOT something that looks good just because of their parts or show cars. **For example there’s a shop down the street from me who have turbo integra’s/civic’s/s2000’s. I have to admit they have pretty nice set ups but as for customer service, they are ONLY good to their homies and VERY FUCKED UP/ GRIMMIE ASSHOLES to any random chap off the street. You have to net-work and look at customers who are satisfied with a certain shops work. Then make a decision to go there or look for a different place. It’s worth doing the research to find someone you can trust with your car rather than dump your car to someone who will screw you over.
