ls turbo won't rev past 5k

My boosted ls will not rev past 5k..im running 550cc injectors 6psi boost, no cel, if i drive it slowly it will rev up past 5k and also will go through all gears fine on jack stands(front tires in the air) Has anyone had this problem??

i have this exact same problem, its like it skips right? sound like its misfiring? i would really like help, i think its just my tune but im not sure

Sounds like your ignition timing is off, your knock sensor might be cutting it off as well. I would suggest some better tuning.

if u have a bov it may be leaking under boost this would cause this problem to.. either disconnect the vac hose or tighten it up and see if that fixes your problem

yeah, it doesnt do it when my turbo piping blows off so i figured it some thing to do with boost, im getting new piping and a hks ssqv soon for a late...really late Christmas present lol

yeah it like a fuel cut a soon as it gets to 5k..im gonna try the vac hose like u said today..ecu i have was dynoed on stock ls turbo same setup as mine

that might be, but arent all motors different and need there own tune? i head this on club civic..

im tuned on a old skool hondata, i know i need a return so tha might be my problem

aight heres what i found out today..if i drive it through the whole powerband slowly it will got all the way to redline..but not when i step on it..also im building like 2lb of boost i believe.. does this have anything to do with the stock map sensor??thank ya'll for the help

Are you running on hondata? If not I'm pretty sure your check engine light is on.... and if it is that's the reason why you ain't passing 5k its a safty thing cause the computer knows you. aint runnin on stock shit... I found that out the hardway
