back right speaker doesn't work?

noticed that my back right speaker didnt work so i bought a new pair of speakers for the back hooked them up and it still didnt work...it looks like the guy before me had switched out the wires for different ones but they dont work what wires or what do i need to make the speakers work??

you need macgyver he'll make anything work. siiike. did you buy a new set of oem speakers or aftermarket?

there after market i got the other side to work right but the right side looks like he took out the wires and use different ones

you need to find out if those wires are even getting power. Most likely where the previous owner spliced the wires, the connection got loose and disconnected.

If your multimeter doesn't read any voltage, you will be tracing his wires back.

And you mean "they're" for they are, not "there"

gotcha and if there is no power going to the wires could i just use speaker wire to switch the wires?

I'd view the prior install as suspect. Pull the headunit and check the connections behind it. Sometimes the harness gets truly squashed putting the headunit back into the dash and a connection can be loosened to the point it eventually fails. Could be that is where the problem lurks. If you verified you have good connection on the speaker, check the other end. Hopefully that solves the problem without having to work backwards under carpet, panels, & disassembly.
