Will a Type r wing cover GSR wing holes?

ok so ive been reading on other honda forums that if you order the type r spoiler off spoilerdepot.com that they will cover all the gsr holes. the website even says that if "your integra has an oem spoiler, this will work" Also, on the same forum people are saying the wings west type r replica will cover the holes. are these true statements? i just dont want ugly holes showing and i dont want to have a body shop weld the holes and so on. what do u guys think?

i bought a replica...it fits perfect. just buy some plugs from lowes for a few bucks to cover up the wire holes from the 3rd brake light and thats it.

No ITR wing (replica or not) will cover the 3rd larger hole left from the OEM small spoiler. SpoilerDepot makes good products, I've bought from them in the past. They'll even paint the wing for you and they do a nice job with that as well. The Wings West won't cover the holes completely either. The Wings West is actually a "hair" bigger than an OEM ITR wing.

ok so that clears the air then. honda tech claims that the replicas cover the holes, and sorry the plugs look like shit im a perfectionist

if you want one that will cover the holes, you'll have to get one with the brake light strip in it. TRUE ITR or direct ITR replicas wont cover it all.

i have ordered both itr replics with and without lights and they both have the same mounting dimensions, so your wrong to say if i get one with lights it will cover the holes. basically i will have to pay a body shop to fill in the holes or buy an ls or itr hatch.

check on ebay. there are a few floating around with thicker bases that do cover the holes. it throws off the look of the wing, but it will cover the holes.
