ok i know im prob gonna get made fun of for askin this question but i searched CI for the answer and couldnt find any threads on it soo here gos

:oops:besides the numbers stamped on the block, or it just saying VTEC on the valve cover. How can you tell if a engine is VTEC just by looking at the engine, and be 100% sure, with out pulling the valve cover off and looking at the cams?

you cannot do an ls vtec without having a vtec head so there is absolutely no way you can have a vtec motor without a vtec valve cover

Maybe he wants know how you can tell if the block is from a VTEC engine, without seeing the engine code.

My name matches again lol
If it doesn't say "DOHC VTEC" on the valve cover, then it obviously isn't a VTEC motor lol.
