My name matches again lol
Well my tail pipe decided to fall off last night anyway. Taking my date home, we heard a loud dragging noise for a few seconds, and then nothing but a loud exhaust sound. She laughed lol. The muffler is still on but it's hanging a little on the left side. I tried to remove the whole thing yesterday but the two bolts on the end of the catback would not budge for shit. That and/or I'm weak, lol. Didn't matter that I soaked them in WD-40. Need to borrow someone's motorized wrench to get the job done. The car currently sounds like it has balls now, hahaha
In other news. I SOLVED ALMOST ALL MY INTERIOR ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS. I was in the process of tearing apart my dashboard to find Ground G401, when something told me to check my fuses one more time. I replaced a 20 amp fuse for the windows/wipers and sunroof a few days ago, but that didn't solve my problems at all. Well, that replacement fuse blew, along with a 7.5 amp. Upon further investigation, I discovered that spot 13 on the box WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO HAVE ANY FUSE. So the previous owner put a 15 in that spot when it was supposed to go to 14, which threw everything else off on the same row. Scooted all the fuses over and I now have map lights, dome light, clock, no more door ajar light the whole time, amber side markers and WARNING CHIMES (BEEN ALMOST A WHOLE YEAR WITHOUT ALL THESE), in addition to my windows, wipers and sunroof working again. This whole time I thought the ICU was fucked in addition to crappy wiring, IT WAS JUST THE DAMN FUSES IN THE WRONG PLACES. LOL
I still say the DA9 is full of design fails. The fuse diagram is just one of the many failures. My DC4 had X marks where stuff was supposed to be empty. Oh well.
And yes, I turned around and grabbed the tail pipe off the road. Luckily it was like 1:30 in the morning and hardly anyone was out. That would have been a lawsuit waiting to happen
