Replacing RC car antenna?

So the stock rise-up antenna ooon my DC4 keeps sticking and wont raise or lower. I just bought a new radio and was thinking i might as well replace the stock RC lookin piece. Should i take it our then use the stopper to plug it and relocate a new reciever? or get some kind of shorty antenna? (where could i buy one?)

sounds like the staff broke in it....u can replace it, but its like 65 bucks through acura.

I plugged my antenna hole and took out the whole antenna assy. Radio music sucks. Mp3's FTW!

Haha its gonna be a lot of mp3 music but, ill be listening to the radio sometimes. Im just seeking a clean look so i dont look like a gay little xmod running around.

Is the shark attack 2 any good?
