He says he has 4 of these, 2 on this ad. I could hardly understand him, but he told me 2 come with tires, but are not that good. I was going to just go look at them to see size/tread left. I was just going to get two, question is if they are smaller tread/profile etc will they effect my driving much if i put on front or rear?

why would you just buy two? Driving will not be that different, but that depends on what the other to wheels/tires are going to be? I personally wouldnt do it

Please don't install only two wheels. If you can't afford all four at once than just buy two and sit on them until you can afford the other two. And if the size/diameter(with tires) are the same, you won't really notice any affect on driving. But if the tires are different, meaning different tread designs, especially if they're vastly different, they will be fighting each other and possibly could present a problem.

They would be good for a full size spare
14inch rims are too damn small.
Agreed.

fat fives are plain ugly
They look like fat fives, but they aren't. I had to do a double take.

So you have a bad tire? Or you need to replace the entire rim?

You could always roll around on steelies if the rim is bad. If you need a tire ON THE CHEAP you can go to a tire place and get a re-treaded tire. You gotta go to those down-and-out places though, no Kramer tire or BF Goodrich.

See the whole thing is I bought this car as a fixer upper, and I lost my job that was AWESOME. Now I been working from sidejob to sidejob. When I bought this car I was going to buy all brand new rims and I did. I got it off a friend for decent price but he didn't tell me he drifted with them with the tires. The tires had good tread but he had so many impact blows it made the car shake so bad. The tires that came with my car had so many pot hole blows to the rim that it makes the car shake real bad at higher speeds. I would still have those rims but my car got repoed with them in it after losing job. Not my current one, my dd car was repoed.

Sorry for story but it explains what I'm going to explain now, I want to get these 2 sets because its same size as my rims, and I think tires will be same size. I just want to put 2 good sets of rim/tires on my front to keep my front end from shaking till I get back on my feet. I don't care really what rims look like because its going to be winter, if you guys think steel/tire would be better I will try that.

If looks are not important to you at the moment, and new wheels is a necessity, get them. You dont need us here telling you what looks good or not, if you absolutely need them to drive around safely.
