Ok I'm fairly new to my integra, I used to rock a v-dub and an ae86 so help me out. The two bolts that hold the starter, are they the same? because for some reason my starter came loose while driving and the top bolt catches thread and holds fine and i had to get a new bolt for the bottom hole cuz it was missing, and its not threading at all i tried a size bigger and nothing. Please help out if you can

rockadilla

thats right.
There's no stupid questions, only stupid people lol JK sorry I couldn't help it dude :D
Anyway I think its:
Top: 75 N•m
Bottom: 45 N•m
so its probably 2-3 sizes bigger, just keep trying till u find one that fits lol

The one on the bottom is longer, it actually threads into the block. Acuraoemparts.com will give you moredetails on the part number.

if your mounting the starter to an automatic tranny the bolts are the same length. but if its manual the top bolt is the same regardless of transmission but the bottom bolt is twice as long.

bingo! nice 1st post. just take the top bolt in to ace and get a bolt that matches the thread pitch but x2 longer for the bottom
