Hello everyone, First time here, been looking for a good forum like this..anyhow..
I have a Acura Integra (93) and the gas mileage has dropped majorly. I have been getting 150 miles in a half tank, had it tuned up , timing checked etc.. and still am now only getting about 85 miles to the half tank. Found no leaks and am still using the 87 octain as i always have, so i don't thnk thats the problem. A Mechanic said he could not find anything wrong with it, but something has to be. Thast a major drop. Could someone please help me out, or give me suggestions, where to look next etc...I would greatly appreciated..Thanks again

Keep on Truckin
maybe if the fuel filter was replaced it was put on backwards? maybe you put on the wrong spark plugs?

air filter clogged? Fuel Filter plugged up? Cat plugged up?

To expound the idea that Kutch and Adel have, why don't you try doing a full tune up to the car and see where you stand. Even if it doesn't fix the problem, it rules a few things and gets you on the road to the fix.

Just call me chris.
maybe a bad O2 sensor. i know when i replaced mine and put a new cat on i saw a 5mpg increase. and using namebrand gas will help to. switching from cheap gas at Speedway to a better gas at Shell bought me another 2mpg roughly.
