ok i have a 90' teg rs ok y distributor (td23u) locked up went to the autozone and bought a reman distributor for it the one i got from them was td25u they say its the sae thing but y car ran like s^!t so they swaped it for a td23u the car runs graet now but now when it warms up it dies and wont start back up unless you hold the pedel to the floor and when it does start it runs real ruff and idles low round 500 when it dies it trows a cel code 3 or 5 (both map sensor codes)so i got new map sensor same thing happens looked for any vac. leaks and ther are none it did have one but i fixed it after that it will warm up and not die but if i shut the car off it wont start with out holding the pedel to the floor and when it starts it back fires like a shotgun anyone have any ideas

just clened tb and it is not showing any signs of the tps bing bad but at this point any thing is posibol

the fact that it gets worse when it warms up...

well it does throw a map code but have put 3 diffrent maps on it and no change what are the signs of a bad ecu thats what my dad thinks it may be. we have been fighting this thing for a week and a half now it also has a bounceing idle 1000 to 1500 have cleaned iacv,tb,it has no vac leaks,timed it 20 times or more.has new plugs,new wires,dist cap,rotor,and a new distributor.im just at my witts end with this car i dont know what to do with it any help would be great
