Hello all. I am new to the automotive scene. I have owned a 90 integra ls auto for a while and decided to purchase a 93 integra gs manual to be my upgrade/ learning car. Since I'm new I'm guessing I should start with just some bolt on stuff. My goal by the end of the year, if possible, would be 200hp. So I need your guy's advice, what should I do first? Keep in mind I don't know how to change idle or tune etc... Just a man who seeks to become more like you guys in mechanics and get into the legal racing scene. Thanks! :)

You will not make 200 whp with bolt ons. It is impossible. You probably wont get anywhere near there without a turbo or spending ten thousand dollars building up the motor N/A. (I am referring to HP at the wheels, not crank HP)

This is what I think you should do first. Read a lot, there are lots of articles on Team-Integra.net. Read up on forced induction, and Naturally aspirated articles.

You need to first decide if you are going to go turbo or N/A because many of the things you buy for a N/A build will need to be replaced doing a turbo build (header for turbo manifold, exhaust for a larger diamerter exhaust, etc).

If you are still interested in reaching 200 W'heel'HP, we can point you in the right direction. It wont be cheap either way, just so you know.

We have a great all-motor section here as well. You will not make 200hp NA on a B18A1 without very deep pockets and a lot of work.

However, There are plenty of Turbo'd LS Integras out there making over 200whp on T3/T4's or something equivalent. And most of those guys are running very little boost.

I would suggest getting use to your car and taking care of all the maintenance first.

What do you plan on doing with the car in the long run? Daily driver, touge/canyon, track/time attack, drag, etc. That should dictate your build.

And as the guys said, the main thing is to do your research!!!

PS - Post pics of your whip!
