so like a week ago my buddy bought a lil beater s10 to use as a work truck, my first time seeing it was last night, i was giving the look over and saw that part of it looked...odd... he saw me looking at it and said DUDE, its fiberglass! i was like, ohhh....well it looked like shit, but thinking about it...the whole thing is a beater and he wouldnt really put serious time into it.... but it looked solid and all.

have any of you guys used it to fix body damage? is it worth it? i know that its used a good amount for body kits and all, but what about metal application to say..cover up holes?

let me know

bonda is filler. its not used for fixing holes. you gotta whole use some fiberglass blanket and resin.

i would use JB weld far before i would ever use fiberglass. Use 3M panel bond and sheet metal unless you have access to a welder and tack weld a panel in their if not panel bond works wonders over FG or Bondo... Jb weld will also work but it doesn't expand and shrink like metal and will start to leave a crease in the paint where the two meet at hand.

Never use fiderglass on metal it wont last!

ok let me clarify a bit more...whats the best thing to use to fix this?....

see i was thinking fiberglass cause that way i could do like a good thick sheet and let it hang and harden then cut and grind the wheel well back in too shape

i mean i know a guy that welds but he has been M.I.A. lately soooo

Sand blast it, cut out what else is bad, and weld a new peice in. Theres really too much gone to patch it up. You need to find a donor truck to cut that peice out of, like in a junkyard.
