Skunk2 intakes good???

i was thinkin bout getting a skunk2 to intake manifold on my integra. i was curious if there any good and if they will improve hp and accel or anything?? also if you had to upgrade my cams or is stock fine??? thanks for any input

for a stock motor, no.
yes you would need more supporting mods before an intake manifold would be needed.

^as he said, putting on an aftermarket intake manifold will only hurt the performance of your stock motor. only after you have mods such as cams, springs & retainers, valves, high compression pistons will it be worth it. HOWEVER... a good port and polish can always free up a few extra HP

how $much$ u guess port and polish would run? thanks a lot guys save me time and money :)

The point is to make the path of airflow smooth, don't take too much metal off, you're goal is to smooth out the ports.

Just a tip, because I think you should do it.
did u do it? damn i could have done it to my exhaust ports when i put my header on. how much would it help?

Port and polish and 1mm oversized valves and that intake will scream but your looking at a good 2,000 if you want it done right by a machine shop but they will also resurface your head just incase that may be warped something a naked eye can't see to well.
