Painting a Replica ITR Spoiler

I'm thinking about buying one of the replica itr spoilers on ebay. They come primered though, so I had some quick questions reguarding how to paint it. I'm assuming I won't be able to rattle can it, considering I don't know where to find Acura Adriatic Blue Pearl paint. Is my only option to take it somewhere?

if it has a LED 3rd brake light, dont do it. Find an OEM one. you can get them for about the same price as a replica

The one I found is from that seller Racing Raven. He always has them on there, and they're for the DBs. They don't have the 3rd brake light. Total $130. I actually dont like the ones with the brake light haha :).

Here

Any advice on the painting though?

If you can find a paint shop they can make your paint and put it in a spray can (I have done it numerous times on different cars) and you can paint it your self or you can take it to a body shop to have them paint it.

How much did they charge you for the can? And did you just spray it on like any other spray paint? Or did you need like a sprayer?

its 12 bucks here, and its just like a spray can... don't need anything extra. Just need ur paint code and they should be able to match it.

Thats how I painted my side skirts to match

Awesome. I'm going to call around tomorrow. Thanks a lot bro :D. You just saved me from spending massive amounts getting it painted at a shop.

For just a spoiler it probably wouldn't be that much, I would have them paint and install though. Just paint.. you can drill the holes... just don't mess up lol

Either way will work, some people don't like to paint.

See I actually don't mind painting it, I've painted a lot of stuff. Never car parts though lol. I used to do alot of Xbox 360s. I had my custom MetallicA paint job on my 360 :). Idk though, I'd hate to mess up and have to sand it down.

Everyone has had that happen though. We have all had to repaint something in our life time... its just something that happens. My wheels need repainted bc I got in a rush...

Yeah, the first time I painted my xbox I got too picky, and messed it up entirely. I had to strip it down after a weeks worth of painting different designs on layers.

So would I spray like a couple of even coats on it, then just hit it with a clear coat? I'm assuming its painted like everything else lol.
