So im going to recap the events of Willow Springs "Big Track".

Subaru Fest was today.
Basically a giant Subaru meet, They had best in show competition, drift and drag demos as well as time attacks. Lots of subarus caught fire and flipped. But over all no one was hurt. This made me more excited for the next day

Race Day being my first session i was excited to show everyone what i could do. Being in the white group i was able to learn the lines with the help of the instructor.
Drivers meeting
The drivers meeting scared the shti out of me. Drivers were in driver suits...i didnt know what to expect...i felt under dressed in my corner, i was the only one in a white tee and True Religion jeans. The admins of the event drove it home that we should be safe and what had happened the day before at subi fest. as the drivers left it was time for the novice meeting were we learned the lines and how to drive the track etc etc.
Session 1
my first time on the track. me and another novice in a black integra (hella slow) drove around the track, the black integra had the instructor the first 2 laps and then he would drive my car. i wanted to compare my line witht he instructors line. This paied off greatly, turns out i wasnt too off of the line...well yeah i was off the line quite a bit
Session 2
This session was the first one where i would be driving on my own. The instructor was in my car this time just riding shot gun I was scared shitless as i went through the first corner. but after that it was game time. i ended up losing the black integra who was supposed to follow me...i waited for him on the main straight going about 60...he finially caught up and we switched passengers. At the end of the session the instructor acknowledged i had potential for the day :lol:
Session 3
I was ready for this session i was by myself and ready to kick ass. But unfortunatly i wasnt able to go out on the track because they gave me the wrong wristband.,,i had to get off grid and get a new one which costed me 2 laps...but luckily those two laps were under yellow flag. i was playing catch up the entire session. i pushed it to the limits and got amazing track times. 2:10 was my fastest in this session, my 2nd session times were arond 2:36
Session 4
This was a pretty uneventful session...cant remember it but i drove fast i think
Session 5
after taking off grid i quickly got my tires heated up and drove my heart out. My second lap was amazing, i was taking the lines proporly and my times were showing it. 2:07 was my fastest lap time. That meant i shaved off 29 seconds over the day. i felt my tires at the limit as i felt the rear slide out in the 3rd turn i kept it together. Since the grid, a M5 and a 5 series bmw were on my tail. by the 3rd lap it was a battle. after the 1st corner i was starting to pull away throughout turn 5/6 i pointed to let them pass me on the back straight but i was still at WOT and they werent able to pass, i entered turn 8 at 90 and kept it around 80 at the apex and into turn 9 i was at 70 as i entered the main straight i couldnt keep off the power of a v8/v10 so they passed over all it was an amazing day!
