Electric turbo that works???

Read the article before you flame.. Id like to see some raw data on there testing, they have some info but nothing like cfm produced or total amount of cfm's that can travel through the unit (for when a real turbo kicks in) but this is a far cry from the ebay shit you see.

An article on it....

The manufacture.....

I think an issue might be the unit itself causing a restriction if it is inline on the intake system. It can help down low but as a turbo picks up and really starts sucking I think that small unit will hinder flow. Possibly a 2 stage system?

I would also like to see some real testing on this. It has always been a good concept, but has not had any real, quality designs that actually produce. Sure looks more like a turbo charger.

Yea, the concept is solid, the crappy motors have always killed them

from what i got in that article they want to sell these to the manufacturers and not necessarily aftermarket... i dont know how this is going to play for us. BUT... if someone can in fact produce an electric turbo that will continuously provide power gains through the power band... then i would for sure be willing to take of of those over a conventional turbo
