Hmm, I thought it would just throw a code for the trans not working correctly. There wont be any hardware for the ECU to signal to shift, so how would it affect the drive-ability?i think i heard you have to switch to a manual ecu cause otherwise the car is going to be trying to tell itself to shift while your driving...
Isn't the conversion of the ECU from auto to manual just changing the position of two resistors.incorrect! u do need a 5spd ecu, if ur going to use ur auto ecu the car wont start because the car doesnt know what gear its in... there's another way to by pass it but its a longer explanation that I dont feel like typing now...
