How To Install Type R Wing

i just got the wing today and i am excited to put it on, unfortunately i dont know how to take my old one of and put new one in, anyone can give me some steps??

pop open your trunk
take out the plastics
unscrew the oem one and there will be a hole for the third brake light wires. either duct tape it, get a plug or weld it.

screw your wing in.

call it a day

the Type R wing will bolt to the factory spoiler bolt holes..

unless your car is black please paint it before u put it on

also make sure its specified either coupe or sedan! i was going to buy one off craigslist, met up the guy only to find out the bolts didnt match up :[

no need to take out the plastics, just unscrew the 4 bolts and replace. you might need to force it to break the glue from the oem spoiler.

can you use the olds bolts or what..(10mm 4 bolts)? so it should fit straight into the hole of a stock gsr integra and jiust needs plugs or whatever to cover the brake light hole? is this right as i in the progress of getting a type r spoiler.


it sounds so easy but, on other forums people complain it didn't work and stuff.. are they just dumb?

i also hear if you open the hood on the back of it will have x's or circles to show you were to drill to put the spoiler bolts into. is this correct?

If you have a factory spoiler on there with the LED light. Have a body shop install it for you because they will need to seal up the extra hole. If you don't you will get water inside.

if its not oem, the factory holes may not match up
