Installing under dash lights

Hey i actually did this a couple weeks ago but wired it to a const power source and a switch in between, I wanted it to turn on when i opened the doors too but didnt work when I tapped into the door trigger since I dont have a relay yet. Anyone know of how to make it turn on without a relay when the door opens?

Went out and snapped some pics. I have UV Blacklight under my dash. I used ozinum cold cathodes and have a a switch to the left of the steering wheel i believe were the moonroof switch is suppose to be.

PS i dont usally have those ricer petals on lol. Thet were 5 bucks and blacklight reactive so yeah i wanted to see how it looked. and the shoe is there just to show. ignore the mess lol.
